Do you remember when we decided that we were entering our luxury girl and soft-boy era? Well, we’re taking it more seriously now because we actually do deserve some luxury in life. Don’t you think so?
When we say luxury, it isn’t simply about high-end designer outfits or golden toilet seats; it’s a unique way of life. For us, it’s about the quality of experiences, more than just material possessions. We enjoy indulging in high-end cuisines, embracing culture at exclusive museums and lounging at world-class accommodations. Don’t get us wrong though, we’re always down for a designer bag. I mean, everyone deserves the fine things of life, from time to time.
However, for some, luxury can’t be an everyday thing, at least not yet, due to where we’re at financially or even physically. Some countries offer more luxurious experiences compared to others.
We are about to journey into some fascinating places around the world where our luxurious dreams come alive.
Starting off our journey, let’s get into the extravagant marvel that is UAE. If you’ve followed the life of your favourite celebrity in the last five years, then you’ve definitely heard about the UAE, better known as Dubai which is only a city in the UAE. From the shimmering skyscrapers to traditional Arabic palaces, it is stunning to see. Not forgetting the divine cuisine that accompanies it – imagine a fine fusion of Middle Eastern cuisine served with style. The seven-star hotels, such as Burj Al Arab in Dubai, could easily be our residence while we indulge in spa retreats and butler services. Not to mention the myriad shopping festivals, if we’re in for some retail therapy.
Our next stop is Switzerland. Nothing screams ‘luxury’ more than Swiss grandeur. Literally anything that has “Swiss” attached to it is considered of exquisite quality, down to the chocolate and cheese. Switzerland is home to serene lake resorts like Lake Geneva, luxury finds its way at every turn in this beautiful country.
Finally, we would be leaving out a gem if we don’t mention USA in our list of top luxurious destinations. Now, this is one massive playground for luxury lovers like us. The penthouse suites in New York, celebrity-endorsed hotels in LA, fine dining in San Francisco, high-end boutiques on Rodeo Drive… it’s just an endless experiences waiting to be explored! Each city, be it New York’s Time Square, Miami’s beaches, or Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, speaks volumes of luxury in their respective ways.
We don’t limit luxury travel to plush hotels or gourmet dining; it’s a carefully crafted experience that touches all our senses in the most exquisite way. In other destinations like France, Italy, Monaco, or Singapore, we see a similar trend.
Let’s remember that the greatest luxury is the privilege to appreciate these cultures and experiences. And to find happiness and satisfaction in the experiences we share.
