The benefits of hydration are endless. Our body literally needs water to function properly. Water is crucial in keeping our joints lubricated, flushing out toxins from our body, and regulating body temperature. Not to mention what miracle it performs for our skin.
But let’s be real, if you won’t say it, we will—drinking water can be boring and not as enjoyable as other drinks out there, especially when we’re trying to meet the water intake goal which is to take between 2-4 litres of water per day.
However, staying hydrated is super important so we’ve decided to find ways to make it fun for us. And what’s one thing we’ll do? Share the tea with you (Isn’t that ironic in this context?)
Well, one thing we suggest is investing in a cute water bottle. Having a water bottle that you love can make a huge difference in wanting to drink more water. You can even find water bottles with motivational quotes or cute designs to keep you inspired.
Another tip is to add some flavour to your water. One way to do this is by adding slices of lemon or cucumber to your water. Not only does it taste refreshing, but it also has additional health benefits.
Creating an accountability group with friends can also be a fun way to make sure everyone is getting enough water each day. Share your daily water intake levels with the squad and let’s cheer each other on. It makes drinking water feel like a team effort, making it more fun.
It’s also important to space out your water intake throughout the day. Instead of trying to chug a gallon of water at once, try to drink water consistently throughout the day. Remember, there are 24 hours in a day, so there’s no need to rush it!
Lastly, we want to remind you that there’s no pressure to drink a certain amount of water. Everyone’s hydration needs are different, so listen to your body and drink water when you feel thirsty. And if your body doesn’t speak to you, you can take some gulps every few hours.
We’ll be checking on you!
